Q: Why is the patch method better than pills?
A: The patch uses a transdermal method of delivery – allowing the skin to absorb the elements within the patch. This can eliminate or diminish several disadvantages commonly experienced by users of pills. A transdermal patch delivers ingredients to the body at even, consistent levels over several hours. Unlike pills, which must be taken several times a day, the transdermal patch method requires only a single application.
Q: Does it work for everyone?
A: In theory, it should work for everyone, however we all know that people are different and 100% success on any product is not guaranteed.
Q: How quickly do they work?
A: This varies with individuals, some will feel the results instantly, whilst others may need up to 4 to 6 weeks.
Q: Is it important where you position the patch?
A: Any hair free area of the body is suitable, for ease of removal. Do not use on cuts or broken or infected skin. Avoid sensitive area of skin, or skin affected by eczema.
Q: Does it hurt or burn?
A: No. There is not burning sensation associated with the patch use. Removing the patch is no more painful than removing a plaster.
Q: Can everyone use this product?
A: As some of the ingredients are shellfish based, anyone with a shellfish allergy should avoid this product. Pregnant and lactating women and anyone taking medication, should consult their GP before commencing the course
Q: Are there any side effects?
A: The only reported side effect we have ever encountered is from those people with extremely sensitive skin and as such have a reaction to the adhesive used on the patches. If you are able to use plasters (band aids) then you should not experience problems with our patches. If you do, as with any other product, stop using them.
Q: Can I use more than one patch?
A: This should not be necessary but if you find one patch is not sufficient it is safe to use more as required
