How they work
Up until now supplements have been taken orally and dosage intervals can be inconvenient. When taking tablets/capsules orally they can be partly destroyed or neutralized in the stomach, intestine or liver before reaching the bloodstream. Accordingly when taking tablets/capsules a higher dose may be needed to ensure efficacy, which in turn may increase the risk of side effects.
To get around this problem we have developed a Glucosamine and Chondroitin patch. Unlike taking tablets/capsules, patches release a constant dose over a 24hour period directly into the bloodstream. By avoiding the stomach and intestine etc the Glucosamine and Chondroitin is less likely to cause nausea and other side effects, also it takes away the worry of remembering to take tablets/capsules throughout the day.
